In this category you will find barefoot snow boots in a modern design. They pair effortlessly with casual and smarter outfits alike, so you never have to choose between warmth, comfort and style. Be Lenka snow boots are all of it in one. Pick a pair to see you reliably through a frosty winter.

What makes barefoot snow boots different from conventional ones?

Conventional snow boots tend to be warm and snow-resistant, but they are often heavy, stiff and restrict the foot’s natural movement. Children can find it harder to run, jump or play in the snow, and adults can feel tired after even a shorter walk.

Be Lenka barefoot snow boots keep the thermal comfort and protection from the cold, but add a lighter build, a flexible sole and an anatomically shaped wide toe box. The foot has more room and can move more naturally, even in winter footwear.

The result is a more pleasant walk, better freedom of movement and comfort that adults and children both appreciate during ordinary winter activities.

What benefits do barefoot snow boots bring in winter?

Ordinary winter boots often protect against the cold but take away the foot’s freedom. Barefoot snow boots combine warmth with freedom of movement. The toes have plenty of room, the foot can work naturally, and you feel comfortable even after a whole day.

Insulated barefoot boots are designed to give a pleasant feeling of warmth without needless bulk. When developing its models, Be Lenka keeps winter barefoot footwear practical, well-made and stylish at once. The result is boots that suit a city outfit and quiet winter walks alike.

Are barefoot snow boots waterproof, and what snow are they suitable for?

Yes, barefoot snow boots are designed for contact with snow, wet snow and puddles. The upper is made from a water-repellent textile material, enriched with a waterproof membrane, and a higher cut helps protect the foot and ankle from snow getting in.

What temperatures are barefoot snow boots suitable for?

Our barefoot snow boots with a warm fleece lining are suitable even for low winter temperatures. They comfortably handle temperatures around minus 20 °C.

Real thermal comfort, though, depends on several factors. How active you are, how long you stay outside and the type of socks all matter. Wool or merino socks help keep feet warmer than ordinary thin socks.

How do I care for barefoot snow boots?

To keep your winter barefoot boots looking, feeling and performing their best for as long as possible, give them regular care. Gentle cleaning and regular waterproofing matter most. After wearing, remove snow, mud and any road-salt residue. Let your snow boots dry naturally at room temperature, away from a radiator or direct heat source.

For cleaning we recommend the Collonil Clean & Care cleaning foam from our range, suitable for textile and synthetic materials. It helps lift even deeper-set dirt and is handy for regular winter-footwear care. For dry cleaning of textile parts you can also use the Collonil crepe brush, suitable for textile both dry and with cleaning products.

Before the first wear, and again through the winter season, we recommend waterproofing your barefoot snow boots. The Collonil Carbon Pro protector spray works very effectively and is made for almost all surfaces, including membrane materials.

Yes, barefoot snow boots have a water-repellent finish that protects them against snow, puddles and melting snow. For longer time in deep or wet snow, we recommend waterproofing them regularly, ideally 2 to 3 times a season. After each wear, let your snow boots dry naturally at room temperature.

Selected barefoot snow-boot models are suitable even for temperatures around minus 20 °C, and some handle lower still. Thermal comfort depends on your activity, how long you are outside and the socks you choose. For the coldest days we recommend wool or merino socks.

Snow boots usually have a higher cut and a warmer lining, so they protect better against the cold on winter days. Winter barefoot shoes are more versatile, suited to the city, everyday wear and a milder winter.

When choosing barefoot snow boots, it is worth looking not only at the design but at the craftsmanship. Quality winter barefoot footwear should have a warm interior, durable details and construction made for cold days. The sole matters too, as it should stay flexible enough while still supporting a sure step.

Be Lenka develops its own sole compounds and tests every model over thousands of steps before launch. That is part of why barefoot snow boots can bring together natural movement, comfort and premium craftsmanship without feeling like a compromise.
